Understanding Witkeep
What is Witkeep for?
Witkeep brings AI models, your tools, documents and methods together in a shared workspace. Teams get answers tailored to their work and can continue directly in their business tools.
Is it only for certain roles?
No. Sales, recruitment and management are examples. You can organise contexts around your roles, teams or projects.
How is Witkeep different from a simple AI chat?
Beyond conversations, Witkeep lets you share methods and deliverables, connect business tools, and track usage, costs and safeguards.
What is an AI gateway?
An AI gateway centralises access to AI models and tracks their use. It lets you manage available models, access rights and costs in one place.
Is Witkeep an AI gateway?
Witkeep includes an AI gateway and combines it with your business tools, contexts, skills and team sharing. Your teams can turn AI conversations into deliverables and actions while tracking usage, costs and ROI.
What is a work context?
It is a collection of documents, methods and rules relevant to an activity. Selecting it gives the AI the background it needs without explaining everything in each request.
What is the difference between a context and a skill?
A context provides the background for the work. A skill describes a reusable method for completing a task, such as structuring an account plan or preparing a summary.
Working together
Do I need to write long prompts?
No. You can make a simple request. The context and skills supply recurring instructions; you add the details specific to the task.
What can we share with our team?
Conversations, deliverables, assistants, prompt templates with variables and skills. Sharing passes on both the result and what others need to continue the work.
Can I edit an answer before reusing it?
Yes. You can edit the answer directly to make your changes before sharing it or using it in the next stage of work.
Can Witkeep update my CRM or ATS?
Yes, provided the connector supports the action and you have the necessary permissions. Witkeep can then update your CRM or recruitment management tool. We define and test the operations to enable with you in your environment.
Should we verify the answers?
Yes. Answers can contain errors or rely on incomplete information. Check sources and important details before making a decision or passing on a result.
Tools and models
Do we need to replace our existing tools?
No. You keep your existing tools: Witkeep connects to them to work with their information and actions. We check the available connections and the operations to enable with you during setup.
What do MCP connectors do?
They give AI access to information and actions in your tools. Each connection depends on the MCP server’s capabilities, configuration and authorised access.
Is the integrations list exhaustive?
No. The tools shown are examples. We can assess internal applications and other business tools based on the interfaces and connectors available.
Can we choose which models are used?
Yes. You choose the models your teams can access and the associated budgets. Options depend on the providers and models configured in your environment.
Can we use local models?
Yes. Witkeep supports local models. We help you choose the model and infrastructure based on your requirements for quality, cost and data control.
Control and getting started
How can we track AI spending?
Conversation costs and dashboards let you review spending by context and model. Budgets and quotas help keep usage within defined limits.
What safeguards can we set?
You can define access rights, alert and blocking thresholds, and rules for masking sensitive data. Configuration should reflect your use cases.
What does data masking mean?
It means replacing certain sensitive information with masked values in the intended processing workflow. The categories covered and limitations must be checked against your data and configuration.
Who can access information in connected tools?
Connections are configured according to authorised access. The scope of each account and tool must be checked during setup.
How do we get started with Witkeep?
The early access programme provides access to the features and support for your use cases. A demo helps define an initial scope with your team.
